Water Polo
The water-polo club trains every Thursday night between 9pm and 10pm at Summerfields Sports centre in Hastings. We welcome new and experienced players from 11 years onwards. The club runs teams for both men and women, participating in the Sussex League. Each year we organise regular friendly games ontop of the league, hosting an annual tournament in October, to win the Observer Trophy and run a weekend trip to Dordrecht in the Netherlands in September to participate in a tournemount run by our twinned dutch club.
Mini Polo
The club offers mini polo to kids which runs every Monday at 6pm until 6:30pm at Summerfields.
mini-polo! is a smaller, more basic game than Water Polo itself and has been introduced to teach young players of any age up to about eleven years old the basics of the full game.

About Water-Polo
Water polo is a team water sport. It is the oldest continuous Olympic team sport. The playing team consists of six field players and one goalkeeper with a maximum of six substitutes. The winner of the game is the team that scores more goals. Gameplay involves swimming, players passing the ball while being defended by opponents, and scoring by throwing into a net defended by a goalie.

Our Club
Water Polo is a highly competitive team sport but is great fun and an excellent way to keep fit. We welcome all standards from beginners to high level players, our minimum requirements are that you must be able to swim front crawl and be willing to join in and have fun! The club also has a good social scene outside of the pool organising trips, nights out and any other excuse to have a party.
